When entering a Project, the first screen that a user will see is the Project Dashboard. This gives a quick overview of the status of the project an example of a Project Dashboard is shown below.
The elements of the Dashboard are described as follows.
The Snapshots section shows the Active Snapshot in use on the Project, in the above example, this is “NHP_2018_12_09_09:56”. Clicking on the “SNAPSHOTS” label will take the User to the Snapshots screen.
Cases shows how many Test Cases are currently in the Test Project. A Test Case should be viewed as a holder for Test Scripts. Test Cases are typically linked 1:1 to a BPM service. In the example above, there are four Test Cases in the Project. Clicking on the “CASES” label will take the User to the Test Case Overview screen.
This section shows the number of Scenarios that have been configured on the Project. A Scenario is a string of Test Scripts that will run in sequence. The output from one Step can be used as the input for another. Clicking on the “SCENARIOS” label will take the User to the Scenario Overview screen.
Newest Test Cases
The last 5 Test Cases that were created are displayed in the “Newest Test Cases” section. The Date Created, the Test Case Name and the Number of Test Scripts are shown. Clicking on the “Test Case Name” will take the user directly to that Test Case.
Latest Test Suite Runs
The last 5 Test Suite Scheduled Runs are displayed in the “Latest Test Suite Runs”. The Date Created, the Test Suite Name, the Environment and the Result are displayed in the section. Clicking on the Test Suite Name will take the user directly to that Test Suite.
Upcoming Scheduled Runs
The “Upcoming Scheduled Runs” shows the next Test Suites that are scheduled. This is limited to the next 5 runs. The Scheduled Date, the Schedule Name and the Environment are shown in the section. Clicking on the Test Schedule Name will take the user directly to that Test Schedule.
