AppTester navigation and user interface consists of two “layers”, the Home – and Project layer. Both layers have specific – and shared navigation components, these are described below.
Home layer
Top navigation bar – home layer

Sorting
AppTester uses lists (tables) to display relevant data. The sort function is available on some columns in these lists. The corresponding icons and functionality are described below.

Sort ascending | This icon shows that the column in the list is sorted ascending | |
Sort descending | This icon shows that the column in the list is sorted descending |
Below image shows an example to sort the list ascending. By clicking on the column name the sort is changed.

After clicking the column name the result is shown in the below image, where now the sort is descending.

Filtering
AppTester uses lists (tables) to display relevant data. The filter function is available on some columns in these lists. The corresponding icons and functionality are described below.

Filter | By clicking on this item (where available) the filter option will be shown by showing filter fields below the relevant columns on which filtering is allowed. | |
Clear filter | This icon is only shown when the filter function is activated. By clicking on this icon the filter will be cleared and the filter field will be hidden. |
Below image shows an example to filter the list. Clicking on the filter icon shows the filter fields. By entering text in the the relevant field the list is filtered accordingly.

While entering text in the filter field, the filter is triggered directly. After text is entered in the filter field the result is shown in the below image.

Clicking on the clear icon removes the filter from the list, the complete list will be available again.
